Hello coach :) I have some question about the game against long pimples opponent. I know you have made a video about it. some parts I don't understand. I'm a person who likes to play a backspin/chop and attack when I have a chance with topspin... is it like that: when I Play a backspin and the chopper plays a backspin too the ball comes back to me without any spin and I can attack it with a topspin? or the situation when I play a backspin and the chopper plays block/no spin the ball comes with a backspin too and I can't attack it?
Hi Pawel,
If you put backspin on the ball it will come back to you with some topspin. You can attack that ball if you are in a good position.
In this video we will discuss the differences between Inverted and short pimple rubbers. We will also cover the advantages and disadvantages of short pimple rubbers. Some of the advantages are that the ball travels lower and flatter over the net and that having one rubber short pimple and one rubber inverted provides variety making it more difficult for your opponent.
