Hi Alois and Jeff

I am just re-sending one girl's question:

She is,despite training for only one year, a region champion. But she has one huge problem.

She is very good at countering long pimples. But she is absolutely unable to deal with antispin.

But these two rubbers are said to have nearly identical effects.

Is it really true? Or is there any small but crucial difference in handling these rubbers?

Thanks
DK

Hi DK,

The only subtle difference is that with some of the long pimples rubbers you can generate a little bit of spin yourself and can probably increase the spin that is already on the ball easier than with anti spin.

Then,what can be the problem?
If they are so similar, how is it possible that she (imitating XuXin style) cannot handle antispin but excels against longpips?
What should I tell her?
(She does not speak english)
