Actually I am playing table tennis from 2 months.your website helped me a lot to improve. But from 10-15 days,I couldn't hit forehand smash stroke which one was my key stroke from the start.most of the times, the ball went outside the table or striked to the net. So,whenever I get ball with considerable bounce, now a days,I am totaly confused to how to hit forehand smash.I am trying, but even didn't get success in it.So what should I do?

Hi Ninad,

Firstly take a look or another look at the Lesson on the Forehand Smash.

One of the key features we talk about is moving your feet into position before you attempt to smash.  The more anxious you get about your smash the less your feet will move.

Perhaps you can start by working on getting into position and then just placing the ball on the table rather than trying to smash it too hard.  Then you can gradually build up the speed.

Don't feel under pressure to hit the ball as hard as you can just because it is up high.  Hit it as hard as you feel comfortable to hit it.

Give it a try and see how you get on.
