Hi Coach,

I have experienced situations when I have lost the feel for the ball and my stroke execution is too stiff, losing fluidity of strokes causing too many unforced errors. What's happening and what can I do to address this situation?

Thank you.

Hi Ashish,

Tension is something that effects every player.  as you are swinging through your strokes try first to keep your hand completely relaxed.  Think about the bat just being in your hand and not griping too tightly.

Then think about moving your arm through the full range of the stroke making sure you have the start and finish positions correct.  Then think about how little effort you can use to get the bat from start to finish positions.

This will help to make your strokes more fluid and increase consistency.
