Hi Coach,

I want to know how to hit (drive or topspin) against low ball. I sometimes wounded my fingers with TT table.

 Thanks

Hi Trilochan,

You need practice and experience in watching the ball and jufging its flight.  Yu need to watch when the ball is lon gand when it is short and too low.

If teh ball is too low it is best to make a push or flick stroke.

Hi Trilochan,

Even i suffer from the same problem. But by practicing the topspin vs backspin drills i am improving in the low ball topspin. Earlier i was afraid to hit a topspin on it as it would sometimes lead to racquet hitting the table, hand scrubbing off the edge of the table, but with more practice now i am able to put these balls away with a good topspin shot. It feels like job well done.

Good luck.

Thanks Coach. You are so true in repeating almost in every video to bend down low with feet wide apart, that really works. I have completed week 5, it was a difficult one as it takes a lot of energy with footwork drills, but i can feel the resistance and the endurance level improving. Earlier when i started standing with feet wide apart and knees bent it felt bit uncomfortable, but now over a period of time the footwork drills have made it a natural stance for me.
