Hi coach,

what exactly is a lunge step and when and how is it played? ive heard this term many times but dont know what exactly it means.

Hi Shripathi,

This I guess is a term that refers to a large step towards the ball.  It is only used when you are out of position and desperately need to reach the ball.

this cant really be used to attack can it? i mean according what you say coach it seems to be used against a drop shot...

It is more of a defensive step and last resort.  I see it more used against an attacking shot to go out wide.  The forward step is a controlled movement.

I am not sure what move it is as I am not a premium and cannot see even the icone of the video,but it seems like it is a move that is crucial for me.

this position cannot be really used for looping,can it?
