Hi Judah,

This is just a Pendulum serve.  He is coming across the back of the ball to generate sidespin. He is varying the serve a bit. He is doing a lot of topspin sidespin serves.

then how would you return those serves?  those are mid long serve

They are bouncing twice on the table so difficult to attack.  It would be best to get them as early as possible and either push or flick them depending on the spin.  If you see them as having topspin then you can try flicking.

The first serve Ma long did there is it a backspin with sidespin sidespin with topspin or just pure sidespin?

That first serve is sidespin with topspin.  YOu will see the ball running on and curving after it bounces.

Ok thanks! but one more thing 1.)do you have to get a fine contact to that serve 2.) how does he get the third ball directly on the line

You do have to get a fine contact.  He is brushing up the back of the ball to get the topspin.  To get the ball down the line you just adjust slightly the angle of your bat.  Don't try to get too technical with it.  Just aim down the line and let your body adjust to it.  It will do it automatically.
