Hi, I am currently having joola energy green power on my FH and joola express 2 on my BH... I feel that i am able to control j.energy green power pretty well. The rubber is amazing for looping, smashing, and even does a decent amount of chopping...and yes with donic ultrasenso carbon blade,it is fast.

I am not a ranked player but i take my game seriously. I still know that my strokes are still not perfect, the serves still not mastered fully.

Shall I change my joola energy green power to Mark V? I've played with Mark V once, and it is slower and less spinny than j.energy green power. But one of my ranked players says that don't depend on rubbers to generate speed and spin, depend on the proper strokes.... now i am confused. He is a better player than me and i know he must be true. But if rubber helps me generate more spin and speed, should i stick to my joola energy green or shall i change to mark V and follow his advice?

Hoping some guidance from you guys.

Hi Binayak,

If you have developed enough skill to be able to control the speed of the rubber then you can stay with it.

Always err on the side of having a rubber that is too slow rather than too fast.  The rubbers we recommend are Mark V to start with then Yasaka Pryde as the next step and then Vega Pro for really fast and more more spin.
