Hi Alois,

Which is a better rubber for an intermediate player. Mark V or Hurricane 3 Neo.

Hi Jasper,

Mark V is an excellent first rubber. The Hurricane 3 Neo will be a bit faster and with more spin so it could be used as a step up.

How about Hurricane 3 Neo and Sriver?

I meant Hurricane 3 Neo and Sriver

Yes, sorry, Mark V and Sriver are similar so the advice would be similar.

If your forehand is stronger you could use the Neo on the Forehand and the Mark V or Sriver on the backhand.

What are you using at the moment?

I am using a pre made bat and I am asking suggestions because I am upgrading to a custom- made bat

Also, I think the Mark V will be a little bit slower so in my opinion it is not a good choice

If you feel the Mark V will be too slow for you, go for the Hurricane.

I found this question and the advice useful. I am using Mark V on both sides and was wondering about what to upgrade to. I thought about Hurricane 3 Neo since it is another classic. So I searched and ran across this post from 7 years ago.
