My forehand problems

Dear Alois

i have been having a problem in my forehand shots and when i say forehand i mean my topspin and my counter hit and my ma lin backspin serve and my smash . They go flying into the net .And it happens sometimes because i bend my knees my uncle who is a champion says it my footwork that's the problem,but even though i take care of my footwork it still goes into the net .

can you help me ?

Hi Mark,

Try to also work on your technique of all of those shots.  If you have good technique then you will be able to get the ball on consistently.  The fact that the ball is flying everywhere means that your technique is probably breaking down.  This may be due to your footwork and not getting into a balanced position to play the shot or it may just be the stroke itself.  Work on these things and then you won'e be able to miss!
