Nervous, Worst Enemy

Hi again coaches. After a week I developed my self as a All-Rounder Player, I can attack, defend and block that makes me win with others but when tournament comes, Nervous attack me that my elbows is crumbling that i cant do my serve as planned and my loops are not fast as i'm doing naturally, what should i think when i'm nervous.

Hi Kenneth,

Firstly understand that most players and probably the players you are playing are also getting nervous.

When you feel yourself getting nervous, stop for a few seconds, take a nice deep breath into your belly and then think about the tactic that you want to use for the next point.

While taking the breath just focus on relaxation.  Think about the parts of your body that are feeling tight and then focus on loosening them up.

Also take a look through all of the other questions in the Ask the Coach section under the Mental Preparation section.  You will see a lot of answers but also a lot of other players that feel the same during matches.
