Neutral grip or switching grip

Strokes

Hello, I was wondering if it is always best to maintain a neutral grip of the bat at all times, or is it better if one switches from a forehand grip to a backhand grip depending on the stroke, and if the incoming ball allows the time for it.

 Hi Yazhou,

I think when you are starting it is good to find a neutral grip.  As you advance it is ok to start to shift slightly.  You don't have time to shift too much.
