Equipment
hello sir , please suggest me proper combinations of blade and rubbers that i should buy . please suggest varity of combinations .
i like a blade with very comfortable handle i.e. not very thick or very long . off or all+ blade. it should produce good speed with control . eg. _tibhar stratus powerwood , butterfly jonyer h2 , donic , stiga off clasic or butterfly blades . i was planning to buy stratus powerwood . is it good or i should go for another?
for forehand . i like spinny and flat topspins and sometimes blocking too . so for forehand normal or good speed rubber with better spin as well as great control . eg . - addidas , bonic blue fire or baracuda ,tibhar ginius or aurus series , mark v, sriver , coppa ,etc.
for backhand , i like a normal speed rubber with good spin for chopping as well as good control .i like backhand topspins but usually block using backhand near the table . eg ._ mark v , sriver , tibhar aurus or ginius , bluefire , adidas etc .
Hi Yash,
The rubbers we recommend are Mark V if you want more control or Yasaka Rakza 7 for more speed and spin. You could also try the PingSkills Touch which both Jeff and I use. Keep the choices simple. Most of the equipment is very similar.
There's is an old saying about guitar playing - tone is in your fingers. And If you've ever seen a really good guitarist play an old guitar then you'll understand how true that saying is. I know we go on a lot about this topic but it is so true. Once you've got yourself a decent bat, it's no longer up to the equipment, it's up to YOU!
