Hi Alois. I have a question regarding a new table. After watching Table Tennis in the Olympics this year I have absolutely fallen in love with the game. Unfortunately I currently do not own a table which is a problem. I was wondering if you have any recommendations of which table I should purchase. I've been looking at the killerspin myt8 and 10. Thanks for the help!

Hi Harry,

We have just filmed a video on this subject that will be released in the next couple of weeks.

The main things to think about are:
1. Thickness of the top.  Anything over 20mm is a good quality top.  The thicker the top the better the bounce will be.
2. Portability - Look at the size and quality of the wheels and also how easy it is to fold up.
3. Storability - How small does it pack up.

The thickness is the most important thing.  The others depends on your usage of the table. Are you going to leave it up all the time or need to put it up and down regularly.  Also how much storage space do you have.

I can't find details on the MyT8 or MyT10 but if you apply these criteria you can't go too far wrong.

https://www.killerspin.com/ping-pong-tables/myt-indoor-series/myt10-blupocket.html comes in blue or black.

myt8 may be an old model it isn't on the Killerspin site.
