WHAT WILL HAPPEN IF MY BLADE IS NOT CARBON AND MY RUBBERS ARE BOTH 729 RUBBERS...WILL THIS AFFECT MY GAME? MY BLADE IS HEAVY BUT THE RUBBERS IS STRONG ON BOUNCE..ARE CARBON BLADES EFFECTIVE IN MAKING THE BALL SPEEDY ENOUGH?
Hi Michmarv,
A full wooden blade is fine. You don't need a carbon blade to play well.
Friendship 729 is a good quality rubber. You have a good set up, now you can focus on your training and getting your game to a higher level.

Thats my Rubber and my Blade is not carbon laminated but "EPOXY Laminated" lol though my racket is heavier more on like a Strengthening Racket or Weights to improve my position after doing a spin but im adapted it now so its not heavier at all and the best part is when i try to borrow a racket from my teammate the feeling is the racket is less heavier than my racket

WHAT KIND OF BLADE WOULD U USE IF U ARE PLAYING IN A TABLE TENNIS TOURNAMENT?
AND WHY THAT SOME PLAYERS WANT THEIR BLADE TO BE CARBON?
DO THEY WANT THAT THEIR GAME TO BE MORE FASTER AND QUICKER?
THANKS COACH! :)
Hi Michmarv,
It's important to use the same equipment you've practiced with when going into a tournament. I personally use the PingSkills Touch blade which is an all round wooden blade.
Carbon blades are faster so players choose these for more speed and power. You do need excellent control when using such a fast blade otherwise you'll make too many mistakes.
I am not sure. Others may know.
