i am a beginner (little bit better) however I am lacking skills of hitting forehand with brushing the ball. I always end up in hitting ball without brushing it...when I try to do it, it goes outside the table..this mostly happens when I try to hit with power.

How can I improve so that I can hit forehand and it lands on table while brushing instead of hitting it from the center of the tt bat.

Hi Vishal,

Try to focus on making sure your stroke remains the same when yo are trying to hit it faster.  Often players will change their stroke too much which will result in the bak flying too long.  Start the practice rally by playing 2 or 3 topspins slowly and then slowly increase it a little at a time during the rally, focusing on keeping the same stroke.

Hi,Alois

when  I do my forehand topspin, what happens I brush the ball but because of my reflexes by bat turns inwards and kills the speed. How can I improve that?

Focus on relaxing the wrist so that it remains straight.  The tension usually turns the wrist in.

Stay calm when doing your stroke. Unnecessary reflexes might disturb your topspin stroke. Take a good swing with your arm without putting too much stress in your muscle. The speed itself is generated not only by your arm but later on you will realise that putting body weight will drastically improve the ball speed without killing the spin. It takes time and patience, good luck :)
