Hi Alois and Jeff,

the bh top spin as you explain it is quite clear for me.

could it be that some top players, because they bent forward, look like they make a stroke forward, but in fact is the same thing in relation to the upper body?

thanks

marcin

Hi Marcin,

If they are bent forward the bat will travel in a different path, but the path of the bat is the thing that really matters.

So if they are bent over and the bat is travelling more forward and brushing over the top of the ball, they need to generate more speed with the racket to get the ball over the net.

Snake Shot

A snake shot is a type of stroke which is specifically used against a drop shot. It is usually loaded with a heavy spin so that the opponent finds it difficult to counter. The type of spin can be backspin, sidespin or topspin depending on your choice. You need to make a movement after hitting the ball to confuse your opponent.
