Off blade with a defense style

hi sir alois, it is ok to use offensive blade(all wood) but my playing style is defense?? laughing

Hi Jared,

It may be OK, it is probably better to use a slower blade though which will give you better control.

but why gionis panagiotis used butterfly petr korbel? is an off blade and gionis is a chopper.. laughing

He is a very advanced skilled chopper with very good control.

One thing to note, for actual low chopping, you do need a fairly powerful setup. That's because you're fairly far away from the table but still need to send back low balls, and to be low the ball needs a lot of forward velocity to get over the net at the height of it's arc.
