Hi Alois, I want to know what were the oldest table tennis rubbers and blades that were created in history? and what was the first rubber you ever use at the start?

Hi Pasquale,

They used to use Velum which is like a skin on a drum to play the game.  Then they used Wood bats and then put some sandpaper on the wood.

Take a look at the ITTF website where they have some historical information. TIMELINE HISTORY.

Tone is in Your Fingers

I know we go on a lot about this topic but it is so true. Once you've got yourself a decent bat, it's no longer up to the equipment, it's up to YOU!
