Discussion
I`m looking foward to the olympic games 2016 in Rio de Janeiro, but I have no idea who could win the men´s singles. I think it will be a chinese again. Who do you think who will take part in the men's singles from China? And who will take part from Germany? Ovtcharov is now the number one here in Germany, an Boll is still the number eight in the world, but I think we won´t see him at a higher world ranking than Ovtcharov again. So do you think that Patrick Baum, Christian Süss or Bastian Steger will be nominate?
I think this is a discussion and there are a few different opinions.
By the way, I wish you all the best! Lukas Oberbancheidt
Hi Lukas,
Interesting discussion. I think things change slowly at the top. The current players are still likely to be on top.
Of the newer players I think Fan Zhendong looks like a prospect for 2016 Mens Singles. The Japanese players are starting to close the gap as well. Ovtcharov I think is the European hope.

I think Zhang Jikw will do it again, or maybe Ma Long. Timo Boll is unfortunately starting to get old. As Alois said the japaneses are strong. But Mizutani los 0-4 to Michael Maze in London.
