Ovtcharov’s tomahawk serve return

How can i return Ovtcharovs tomahawk like serve with my forehand having too much underspin and side spin on it effevtively in order to avoid a loop attack from my opponent its difficult for me to return it short on the table. Tell me a side of the table so that probablity of loop attack is minimum.

I am right handed player and same is my opponent reply me soon.

Hi Haseeb,

You need to aim to your right. To do this you need to turn your wrist back.  If the serve has backspin then utilise the push for the return and keep your hand and fingers relaxed.

Which side you return it to depends on your opponent's strengths.
