Hello alois and jeff!

i received your email and its very useful and it gives many information!

1.what exactly is a blade with hard wood and what are the differences between hard and soft wood? Also what type of rubber shall i use with soft blades and what type with hard blades?

2.do you know the brand "friendship 729"? Would u reccomend it?

Hi Giorgos,

The harder the wood, the faster the ball will come out.  The softer woods, give you more feel.

Friendship 729 rubber is a good quality rubber. However I have seen lots and lots of versions of this rubber.  It tend sto be a hrad rubber with a grippy surface. Good for getting a lot of spin on your strokes.
