Paddle wrapping

Hi i just got a new paddle- the stiga sabre (beginner) and it came with a rapping on it as I'm sure other paddles have this- it's clear and for protection. My friend told me to keep it on- will it help me? Or should I take it off? Thx

Hi Hanson,
If it is a plastic covering, take it off before you play with it.
You can put it back on after you play to protect it from dust when you are not playing with it.
