Equipment
Hi, coach. Last time, I saw my senior bat is do it by him self. So, I start make my own bat, but I don't now how to paste the rubber on the sponge layer. Can you tell me? Thanks.
Hi Elvin,
This is a tricky operation. You are better to get the rubber already put together. You also need to be careful because some rubbers are only approved with their particular sponge.
Make sure you buy a table tennis bat that is suitable for your level and allows you to develop your technique. For your first bat we recommend the PingSkills Rook, and when you upgrade to a custom bat we recommend the PingSkills Touch with Mark V or Rakza 7.

If anyone is just looking at gluing a complete rubber on their bat then they can watch our replacing your rubber video.
A normal rubber is made up of a sponge and then the actual rubber. As Alois mentioned, I would recommend just buying a rubber from a table tennis store or club, as that way the rubber will be complete.
