 Hi PingSkills!

Recently I noticed that Ma Lin twiddled his bat right before he serves

This is a video showing him do it

I was wondering if you could give me some tips on how to twiddle.

Thank you!laughing

Hi,

It looks like he takes his thumb away and then puts it behind the bat and pushes it around to twiddle it.  Give it a try.  The more you practice it the smoother it will get.

Hi, Pingskillers. That has always seem to me more like a tic, a fad. A nervous thing. But if you think it's important, make sure you don"t drop your racket when you are receiving.
