Hi, I noticed in your pendulum backspin serve, the paddle ends up hitting your stomach.  Would this hinder the momentum of the serve that may prevent the maximum amount of backspin possible? Thanks.

Hi Steve,

The stomach actually acts as a brake to stop the bat. So you can still have full momentum when you contact the ball and then stop and quickly return to a good ready position.
