Hi PingSkills,

How to control the direction of the pendulum serve ?

As when i make a Pendulum or reverse pendulum, the ball always go diagonaly so if i'm right hand and serve from left side of the table, the ball will go to right side or the opponent left side

So, how to make the serve in the opponent right side ? I know it's not recommended as many people have a really good forehand attacking strokes (for the right hand) but i think it can make them a little surprise and confused as they're usually receiving the serve from their back hand side and it'll good to make that serve for the left hand as the ball goes to their backhand side

so, how to control the direction when make that serve ?

please for your advice

thank you very much :D

Hi Frendy,

To get the Pendulum serve down the line, get the swing coming more in towards your body.  So the leading edge should come more across the table and towards you.

I don't really understand about what you said... so it mean that the swing is not from the side of body but in front of the body ? or what ?

The start is the same. Then you come in more towards your body than across your body.

so it just like hit the back of the ball ? if yes, what about the backspin one ? and also what about the reverse pendulum serve ?
