To put my question into perspective I will first say I'm left handed. When serving to the left should I curve the ball left or curve it in the opposite direction?

Hi Will,

This will always depend on your opponent.  Most players have a preference for the way they like the ball to curve.  Try to use both ways and see which one is best for that opponent.
