Hi,

I have been playing with penhold grip for 4 years now and I have reached a stage where I can no longer play with the shakehand grip ?. I have been using the tenergy 05 for forehand and yasaka antipower on backhand for close defence. I would like to change the backhand to a pimpled rubber and am confused which rubber to choose. I like the playing style of ruwen filus and my playing style is somewhat similar to his although I am a penholder. Can you suggest a good rubber for my backhand ?

Best regards,

Reuben Mathew.

Hi Reuben,

Interesting style.  I think a long pimple would suit best.  Something like Tibhar Grass would be good.

Tone is in Your Fingers

There's is an old saying about guitar playing - tone is in your fingers. And If you've ever seen a really good guitarist play an old guitar then you'll understand how true that saying is. I know we go on a lot about this topic but it is so true. Once you've got yourself a decent bat, it's no longer up to the equipment, it's up to YOU!
