Hi guys,

I am a beginner and I usually play penhold and i was fine with it. Then i started learning shakehand and was fine with it. Therefore i was confused whether to be a penholder or a shakehand player.

BTW i need an answer because i am buying a custom made bat.

Hi Diego,

It is just your personal preference.  If you really don’t have a preference, then go for the shakehand grip.  I think the shakehand grip is easier to develop your game initially.
