Our homeowners association just purchased a Newgy 2050 ping pong robot. Do you think that working out with this unit could be helpful in gaining improvement in my level of play?

Basically it is worth practicing with it if you don't have good training options.

Finding one serve your opponent doesn't like can win you a match. That's why it's important to be able to serve with variation. When you playing an opponent try different variations of each serve and see what your opponent doesn't like.
