Well I know that the pingskills touch is a bat with changable rubbers, but is it possible to change the rubbers on a pongskills rook? and by the way what type of bat is the rook? is it off,def or all? and what type of rubber is on it? thanks in advance:)

Hi Samuel,

You will be able to change the rubber on the Rook but not as easily as with the Touch.

The blade of the Rook is between an Allround and Defensive speed to give you really good coontrol.

Tone is in Your Fingers

There's is an old saying about guitar playing - tone is in your fingers. And If you've ever seen a really good guitarist play an old guitar then you'll understand how true that saying is. I know we go on a lot about this topic but it is so true. Once you've got yourself a decent bat, it's no longer up to the equipment, it's up to YOU!

The glue used to stick the rubbers on is a bit stronger than what is used for a custom bat. This means it is a little bit harder to remove the rubbers. It certainly can be done, but just requires a bit more care and effort.

The bat uses ITTF approved Lion 5 2mm rubbers on both sides. The overall ratings of the bat are 7 for speed, 9 for control and 9 for spin. As always though ratings are hard to compare between products.

We are very happy with the PingSkills Rookands think it is a great bat for learning how to play Table Tennis.
