Hi Alois!

What is the right rubber for quick penhold attacker like me? Should I use SHORT PIMPLED RUBBER or PIPS-IN RUBBER?

Thanks!

Hi Louie,

If you hit the ball flat and fast all the time then you could use the short pimpled rubber.  However if you want to spin the ball sometimes then use the pips-in rubber.  Most penhold players today use pips-in because it gives you more options.

I think that is a wise choice.

Hi Alois,
What is the best timing to change into long trajectory rubber? I prefer to go for the next level of my game. Is it good for me to use long trajectory rubber? Most of the Chinese table tennis players use long trajectory, because of low long arc. I am a
looper, quick attacker, topspinner penhold.

Thanks!

When you feel you want to hit the ball with more speed and spin.
