Equipment
Hi Alois, before you cut the rubber there is a plastic protective film do I need to throw it or keep it for protection of my rubber and will it effect the tacky of my rubber also will it effect my rubber grip?
Hi Galleon,
You can cut this plastic with the rubber. You can try to put it back on after you use it. Often these thin plastics will wear out quickly.
There's is an old saying about guitar playing - tone is in your fingers. And If you've ever seen a really good guitarist play an old guitar then you'll understand how true that saying is. I know we go on a lot about this topic but it is so true. Once you've got yourself a decent bat, it's no longer up to the equipment, it's up to YOU!

Yes you can use them to protect your rubber. They may not last very long.
