I recently had a school team selection it was a league tournament. All of them played with everyone. And there are 2 pools I was in the first pool and there are 5 people in one pool. I played 3 matches and lost 3 matches and I am Most probably eliminated. I feel broken even though I played such good tt after all that the result? What do I do? How can I regain my confidence and my dedication back to the game and start playing tt again?

Thanking Pingskills!     :)

Hi Ganesh,

Table Tennis is  along term game.  If you worry every time you have a bad result you will find it very difficult.

Now you said you played well, so you should be really pleased.  If you keep playing well and improving your skills you will end up getting good results as well.

Work hard.

Recognise Your Feelings

The first step into the world of sports psychology is to recognise your feelings when you are playing well and when you are playing poorly. This video talks about some of those feelings and asks you to think about different matches you have played and how you felt during those matches. In future videos on the subject we will use this information to help you reach your potential.
