Hi Simon,

Firstly it is a matter of understanding what spin is coming back to you.  Take a look at our video on Spin Reversal Misnomer.  This shows you the type of spin that you can expect.  We also have a tutorial on Help Against a Chopper with Long Pimples which might also help.

 

Then try to play against it was much as possible to get the feel of the spins.  It is different to playing against inverted rubber so it does take a bit of time to get used to.  Remember you can dictate the type of spin that you are getting to a certain extent.
