At my last training, an opponent in a little burst of frustration (my aggressive play went well that game) said I "play like a woman", because I play so close to the table. I thought it was hilarious, but then I started wondering, is there anything to his observation that women play closer to the table than men?
Hi Johan,
Yes the top female players as a generalisation tend to play closer to the table and faster and flatter.

Hmm, perhaps its also true that classic penholders play closer? I was going to say japanese (male) players do too, but I've realised I've only seen like three or four players, so that might be a too limited set
