Hi Utkarsh,

Phantom is a long pimple rubber. To deal with the long pimple rubber you need to first understand the effect it is having.  Take a look at our lesson on the Effects of Rubbers and watch particularly the long pimple sections.  It is a matter of getting used to the spin that you are getting back.  The long pimples will reverse the effect of the spin.  If your play a topspin to it you will get a backspin return and vice versa.

Try to practice against this type of rubber as much as you can and you will see an improvement in your ability to read the game.

For our Premium members there is also a lesson in our Match Strategy course on Playing Against Long Pimples.
