Playing too safe

Strategy

Hey Alois,

Do you think any of the top 20 players in the world play too safe, to the degree that it holds them back?

Is there a certain skill level range of players you notice have this happen more than other skill levels?

At what point should you be satisfied with consistency, and start moving more focus to placement?

Hi Dakota,

I don’t think that they do play too safely.  They tend to play a good balance that suits their own level.

I think once you have very solid basics and control you can start to think about playing stronger.
