Hi Alois and Pingskills

well my backhand topspin off backspin is good, but in the matches i never do it because after the serve i stay on the table, then the reception of my opponent surprises me, can i take a distance from the table after serving or just wait on the table and when the ball comes to my backhand i take that distance?

Besides, usually i attack with my forehand from the backhand side, after i hit the ball, which must to be my position?  I must step back or what?

thanks Alois, and tomorrow i have a tournament :D

Hi Cristh,

You can move back a little after you serve to allow yourself more time and also to be able to deal with the longer balls.  It is a preference for each player depending on where you feel comfortable.

Good luck with your tournament.
