Recovery after topspin against backspin

Strokes

After hitting a topspin shot against backspin, I'm usually up close on the table.  If my opponent gets a good block on the ball they can usually win the point.  Any tips on how to quickly recover after that shot.

Thanks,

Ben

Hi Ben,

Try staying more relaxed and having a shorter stroke.  This will allow you to recover more quickly.

If you play a slower spinny topspin it will allow you more time before the ball comes back as well.
