How can I cope with a rh partner receiving in doubles when he stands in the centre of the table? I can only stand behind him for the 3rd ball and if he doesnt move swiftly out of my way I am too far away from the table to return the short ball. The server will see this and take advantage with a short 2nd ball. Roy

Hi Roy,

You can stand next to him and then get him to move right and you move into the centre of the table.  Try to stand as close to him as possible without getting in his way.
