Strategy
hi alois and jeff,
out of the many positions that i can stand around the table, which position(s) allow(s) me to put maximum power/speed/spin on the ball?
thanks
Hi Shripathi,
If you are looking to play with power and speed you should stand close to the table to give your opponent less time to react to the ball.
If you are going to use spin then you could take a step away from the table and use the spin and variation to win points.
The key tactic against an attacking looper is to stop them playing their favourite shot, the loop. Alois tells you the best tactics to swing things in your favour when playing this type of player.

Alois Rosario from PingSkills Posted 13 years agoYes it completely depends on who you are playing. See what works against each opponent and in each rally. Variation against an opponent is also effective.
