hello!!

I just get 2 days a week to practice table tennis as my college time clashes with the time of practice session .I play table tennis on friday and saturday . And i desperately want to continue my game.  Is there any way to improve my game just playing on weekends?

Hi Yashant,

Every time you practice you can improve.  If you stay focused and put in a really good session you will make improvements.  These two sessions can be more valuable than some other layers training 5 days a week if you make them focused and work hard.  Work on things that will help you to improve during those sessions.

Take a look through our Training Drills and select drills that will help your game.  You can also look at our Training Secrets lessons for more tips on what you can work on for your game.

#46 - Tournament Preparation 2

In the first week of your preparation we focused on the consistency of your third ball attack. This week, since the third ball is so important, we are going to continue working on this. However this week we are going to focus on placement. It is really important tactically to think about where you are going to play the ball. We build upon the drills from last week so you can improve the effectiveness of your third ball through placement.
