Hi pingskills

My question is: does it matter what balls I use to practice with. Also for training should I use two star or three star balls

thanks a lot

Hi Bryan,

It is best to practice with Plastic balls if you are competing with them.  However, if they are not readily available then practising with the celluloid balls is OK.

Regarding 2 star or 3 star, again, it is best to use 3 star balls but if it in not financially viable then go with the 2 star balls.

Choosing a Table Tennis Bat

Make sure you buy a table tennis bat that is suitable for your level and allows you to develop your technique. For your first bat we recommend the PingSkills Rook, and when you upgrade to a custom bat we recommend the PingSkills Touch with Mark V or Rakza 7.
