Training
hi!
i do go for coaching thrice a week but i spend most of my time joining my tt table with the wall(in my house) and practicing forehand and backhand counterhits because my family members arent great players am i following the right path playing with the wall or should i try something else????
thanks!
Hi Pavandeep,
Playing against the wall is a great idea if you don't have a practice partner. This will help with your hitting skills. OF course it isn't a total substitute for a practice partner, but it will be good for you.
Take a look at our lesson on Practicing Alone.
Unless you are a defender you won't be practicing chopping regularly. However the chop is a great way to stay in the point if you are out of position and is also a difficult variation for your opponent to deal with.
