I've been thinking about a certain thing and that's pride. When you and your opponent are in an even match, which will you recommend? Extend and challenge him? Or forget pride and finish points? Pros usually think that their confident because they are pros, who worked hard to be what they are today and they can do anything.

Hi Carlo,

Interesting question though I'm not entirely sure what you mean. When two players are in an even contest it can be a great spectacle to watch, that's for sure.

For me pride comes from performing well, playing with integrity and doing your best regardless of the situation. If you've done that you can walk away with your head held high.

I think confidence is something different to pride. You can be confident in your abilities but still not be proud of your behaviour. Professionals will feel confident if they have put in the effort during training to make them believe they can perform to a certain level.

Alois tries to knock a cone off Jeff’s head… and let’s just say, it doesn’t go to plan. 😂

After a few close (and not-so-close) attempts, Jeff steps in to show how it’s really done.
Cone on head. Ping pong ball. A test of precision, patience… and pride.

Will Alois redeem himself? Or will Jeff forever hold the bragging rights?

🧠 Probably not how you should practise… but definitely how we do.
