Proper Weight Transfer

Since I don't have any coaches, I figured to suggest a video on Proper Weight Transfer for Power/Kill, Normal and Heavy Leg Transfers. The reason is that I don't have any clue on weight transfering and I think mine is wrong.

This is a Japanese showing power/kill shots. He shifts his weight to his right leg and then lifts his left ankle? Why did he lift it?

I'm suggesting for a video on proper weight transfer or even just a blog, pics to show. Please help.

Hi Carlo,

We will add that to the list of suggestions for future Lessons.  Thanks.

Weight Transfer

When playing your strokes, especially the forehand, you should consider the transfer of weight from your back leg to your front leg. You also need to incorporate a twisting motion of the waist. Doing this will give your stroke more power.
