hi i wanna stop playing table tennis for about a year should i do something to protect the rubbers from becoming out of order or not?

Hi Alex,

The best way to store your bat is to put some plastic covers over the rubber.  Even some Cling Wrap plastic would do.  Make sure it isn't in any heat at all.  Put it in a cupbpard that will not be too hot.  The main killers of rubber are heat and dirt.  Make sure you protect it from those.
