How do you return a service that is delivered long, fast but spins away from you. I often resort to the forehand push yet my ball ends up flying out of the table.
Hi Anand,
The best option off a long fast serve is to make a topspin return. If you try to push it, you will find that the ball will tend to go long or high. It also gives the first attack to your opponent. By making a topspin you are starting the first attack.

Thanks. That is another tip that I learnt.
But my original query was - For a spinning long fast serve, how to counter the spin at that pace and yet keep it on the table ?
By using the topspin you are countering the spin because you are brushing it in the direction you want. There will still be some effect. The same principles apply as to returning any spin. Use the angle of your racket to counter the spin.
